Delivering Consistent Energy During Peak Demand
Eland 1 Solar is a 384MWdc project located in Mojave, California. The project consists of a solar facility, 230kV substation, and BESS. The project utilizes Jinko modules, Sungrow inverters, and Nextracker racking. Eland 1 will provide enough renewable energy to power over 280,000 homes across the city. It will also prevent up to 727,360 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions compared to a conventional fossil fuel power plant.
SOLV provided Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services on this project along with facility commissioning and testing once the site was complete.
