Building a Lasting Impact
Kayenta 2 is a 28-megawatt solar project located on Navajo Nation land in northeastern Arizona. Developed by the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) in partnership with the Salt River Project (SRP), the Kayenta Solar generation facility is the first tribally owned large-scale renewable energy project. Together, Kayenta 1 & 2 will generate enough clean energy to power 36,000 homes.
