SOLV's Project Safety Recognition
Oberon 1 is a 339 MWdc Solar Photovoltaic project located in Desert Center, California. The project consists of a solar facility, a 500kV substation with gentie, and 250MWac 4HR BESS. The project utilizes First Solar modules, TMEiC inverters, and Nextracker racking. Oberon is one of three SOLV Energy jobsites recognized as workplace safety and health leaders through the California Voluntary Protection Program (Cal/VPP) for non-fixed construction sites. Cal/VPP is Cal/OSHA’s top-level safety and leadership program recognizing employers who have voluntarily managed outstanding safety and health programs. SOLV Energy is the only Solar EPC Contractor in the nation with this status.
