Pioneer Solar is a 100 MWdc ground mounted PV site located in Bennett, Colorado. The project utilizes Jolywood modules, Power Electronics inverters and over 230,000 Nextracker single-axis tracking panels that follow the sun’s path to increase exposure. Pioneer Solar has a long-term PPA with Intermountain Rural Electric Association, a power company based in Colorado, to supply power that can support approximately 26,000 households. SOLV provided Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services on this project along with facility commissioning and testing once the site was complete. SOLV also provides operations and maintenance support to ensure site efficiency. This site is monitored by SOLV in their state-of-the-art medium impact Operations and Control Center (OCC).
